QD is a pointer driven editor that was and still is widely used in the development community. It has limited ability to colour the text depending on the programming language and SMSQ/E even comes with a specialised plug-in that allows QD to execute Basic programs directly from its editor contents (SBAS/QD). It makes use of many of the the standard QMenu features like the file selection dialog or the scrap extension to transfer text between editor windows.

It was updated for WMAN2 by Bernd Reinhardt and Marcel Kilgus and finally released as freeware in 2017 by Marcel Kilgus.
